Every year the town of Glory celebrates its founding with a gunfight between the two fastest gunmen in the West. The participants are to be Deakes and Brenner, but plans change when a drifter named Reece announces that he has killed Deakes. He agrees to take Deakes' place in the fight, but the men behind the celebration decide to keep the substitution a secret.
