Raja (Karthi) runs a local cable television channel called "Triple A" and Kalyanam (Santhanam) is his assistant and a faithful employee. Raja is attracted to Devi Priya (Kajal Aggarwal), who is from an affluent family and dreams of making it big as an artist. Raja's normally supportive father is not in favor of the match. The Karthi steps into Prabhu's story set in the flashback 80s, then working with Chitra’s grandfather played by Nassar and he had left the job after he was insulted by him.
