Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Lesson in Murder
As she continues to research her thesis, Aurora works twice a week as a teaching assistant in Professor Lindo’s True Crime Literature class. Aurora gives extra help to Kevin, a young man who is not making enough effort in class. She invites Kevin to study at the diner, where she waits tables several nights a week, and where she is starting to feel chemistry brewing with Daniel, the charming cook who makes her special dishes to eat on her break. When Kevin doesn't show, Aurora goes looking for him and finds his car, with Kevin dead inside it. Aurora finds herself in the prime position to investigate, and with Arthur and Professor Lindo’s help, she quickly comes up with several obvious suspects who had some connection to the class; each having an obvious motive. Several pieces of evidence emerge against each of these suspects, but an arrest is hard to make when any one of them could be the culprit.
