Battlezone: Grenada and Iran-Iraq

Operation Urgent Fury, the Invasion of Grenada. U.S. commandos deployed at H-hour set for 0500 on 25 October 1983. Nearly simultaneously, American paratroopers arrived from bases in the United States and U.S. Marines were airlifted to the island from the USS Guam offshore. Iran-Iraq War, (1980-88) resulted in bitter fighting and mass carnage with warfare often compared to the trenches of WWI.
