A coming of age, Malaysian love story that explores the topic first love. Faye Wong (Marianne Tan) has been with her first love Ben Tan (Brandon Ho) since primary school. The two are inseparable and grew up together throughout their schooling life. However, when Ben breaks the news that he will be furthering his studies in Australia, Faye feels her world crumble as Faye’s future has always been about Ben and her living in Malaysia. Faye tries to remain hopeful that they will make their relationship work no matter the distance, but as their plans change so do the dynamic of their relationship. Faye will need to make a decision to either convince Ben to stay or to follow him overseas. A depiction of today’s society and how we leave the country in search of opportunities not realizing the life and people we are leaving behind.
