How Does It Feel To Be a Problem?
Available on Prime Video, Tubi TV, Plex
With the death of George Floyd, many in America finally began to awaken to the realities of systemic racism. At a time when many claim that systemic racism in America is a myth, How Does It Feel To Be a Problem? is a documentary feature film that exposes systemic racism, both past and present, in the U.S., whether in policing, voting protocols, criminal justice, or politics. Drawing inspiration from sociologist W.E.B. DuBois who asked the question, “How Does It Feel To Be a Problem?” in his seminal work, “The Souls of Black Folk,” the film demonstrates how racism seeps into American culture and “others” people of color who have never been welcomed into the “American Dream.” At the end of the day, change is needed and change takes allies, hard work, perseverance, and dedication.
