There was a family in a village where Niren was the elder brother. He was a farmer. Kiron and Biru were his two brothers. Kiron was a very good student, so Naren sent him Kolkata to study physics. For this he mortgaged his property to Panchanan who was a 'Jotdar'. Panchanan was jealous of Naren and to compete with him he also sent his son Madan to Kolkata. Naren and his wife Sulekha fixed the marriage of Rama, Naren's sister but due to marriage break she commited suicide. Naren become blind. At Kolkata Biru went to kill Kiron but died. Panchanan complled Naren to leave the house, Sulekha opposed them. In the mean time, Kiron and Mita came but they also failed to oppose him. Then Panchanan's wife came with police force and handed over her husband to police. Madan was killed by the police. Ultimately all the misunderstandings were sorted out and they lived happily.
