Our Miss Brooks

Comedy and romance bloom at Madison High School when the handsome, single and clueless biology teacher is pursued by the new English teacher, Our Miss Brooks. Eve Arden re-creates her classic role from radio and television as Constance "Connie" Brooks when she arrives at Madison High to teach. Miss Brooks is instantly smitten by biology teacher Phillip Boynton (Robert Rockwell), but the biology teacher can't recognize biology when she looks him in the face and calls him by name. Only after the father of one of her students starts to court Miss Brooks does Boynton realize what he's felt all along... as Miss Brooks struggles to survive a petty tyrant of a principal and students who seem to be speaking a foreign language rather than the English she strives to teach.
