Du-sik runs a DVD room business that is on the verge of going bankrupt. He barely earns enough to put food on the table each day and due to piling up unpaid bills, rent and taxes, he can’t wait to get rid of the business once and for all. Clearly, buyers aren’t lining up in a bidding war, and only flies greet him each day. Meanwhile, Tae-jung, who works part-time at the shop and is desperate to pay off student loan, hasn’t been paid in months. Since several months worth of unpaid salary is tied up at the shop, Tae-jung can’t go anywhere. Meanwhile, to make the shop look busy so that he could lure potential buyers, he hires Chinese-Korean Han-wook, who can be used like a workhorse and pay a fraction of the salary. As a favor for a drug dealer he knows, Tae-jung hides a shipment of drugs at the DVD room No. 7 in exchange for wiping off his debt. Thanks to Han-wook’s earnest work ethics, customers are starting to trickle into the shop. Du-sik’s joy is short-lived, as Han-wook dies in an accident in the DVD room and goes into full panic mode. He hides Han-wook’s body inside room No. 7 and locks it off completely. At the same time, Tae-jung is ordered to return the drugs to the dealer and goes to room No. 7 but it’s locked up.
