Sally

Cafe hostess Sally (Marilyn Miller) aspires to leave her humble beginnings in an orphanage to become a dancer. She is loved by Blair Farell, of an aristocratic family, but his father has arranged a match with another woman. Forced to leave the cafe when she spills food on the suit of Otis Hooper, a booking agent, Sally gets a job at the Balkan Tavern. Encouraged to dance for the customers, Sally is a sensation.
