The D.I.

He's the toughest drill instructor in the marine corps. The D.I. Jack Webb ("Dragnet") stars as Sergeant Jim Moore, a take-no-prisoners drill instructor at the United States Marine Corps.' Parris Island base. He's on a mission to whip a group of recruits into fighting men, but his one obstacle is Private Owens (Don Dubbins), who has spent his entire life being coddled and now seems to find every opportunity to both screw up and thwart his sergeant's goal to turn him into a lean, mean, killing machine.
