Dr. Samantha Rand (Amber Benson), a renowned anthropology professor, has her life turned upside-down by the suspicious disappearance of her star pupil. But when a package of paranormal artifacts arrives on Rand's doorstep three years later, she embarks on a nightmarish journey into mystery that shakes her and her wife to their cores. Bizarre and macabre dreams lead her to cross paths with a strange psychiatrist (Kevin Chamberlin) and his tormented patient (Mat Devine), who aid in her pursuit of an unspeakable truth. Her nightmares bleed into reality as she endangers her career, wife, and sanity, encountering an occult museum that defies reality. After struggling to overcome the horrifying tenants of the nightmare gallery, she risks her last vestiges of sanity to keep an ancient, malicious god from reshaping the world.
