Evey is rescued by a man in a Guy Fawkes mask who calls himself V, who uses terrorist tactics to fight the oppressive society they live in. Soon, Evey becomes V’s unlikely ally to bring down the fascist government that is controlling Great Britain. The film is based on the graphic novel V for Vendetta, written by Alan Moore and illustrated by David Lloyd.
