Adam Busch

Hailing from Long Island, Adam Busch is a TV and film actor, and his biggest role to date has been that of Warren Meers on the iconic TV show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," Joss Whedon's teen fantasy that earned a cult following over the course of its seven seasons. Busch's first role came at just 16, in the 1994 crime thriller "The Professional," Natalie Portman's early breakthrough film. Two years later, Busch earned a key supporting role on the family comedy "The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo," where he appeared on the first two seasons. In 2001, after a few turns in several obscure smaller films, among them the family drama "Magic Rock," Busch made his debut on the fifth season of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." During his run, Busch's Warren actually killed the "Buffy" character Tara Maclay, who was played by Amber Benson, Busch's eventual real-life girlfriend. In '04, Busch followed up his "Buffy" role by playing the lead, Steve Dixon, on Barry Levinson's short-lived crime drama "The Jury." Busch had another significant part, on Fox's single-season-long horror crime-thriller, "Point Pleasant," which was followed by a series of brief TV parts, and roles in another string of obscure films. Then, in 2010, Busch teamed up with Benson to co-direct the modestly budgeted film comedy "Drones."
