Poker champ Bat Masterson has important testimony to offer at the trial of H.C. Smith, charged with murdering Bat's friend during a card game. Gunning people seems to run in this particular branch of the Smith clan as the father of the accused makes bloody threats against Bat and other witnesses for the prosecution.
