THE REAL LOVE BOAT sets sail as hosts Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell greet five single women and five single men who are ready to find love and begin the adventure of a lifetime aboard the Regal Princess Cruise Ship.
The ship pulls into the romantic port of Marseilles in the South of France. The couples must uncover a gold coin hidden in a bar of soap by lathering each other from head to toe. The first couple to find the coin wins.
Singles continue to be in control when they each couple up to complete a three-legged champagne tower building race in the Princess Piazza; at the most dramatic Sail Away ceremony of the season, someone jumps ship and someone is left abandoned.
The winning couple is announced, and Jerry and Rebecca give a live performance of the Love Boat theme on the main deck, complete with background dancers.
