Eric and the team are called to Paris when MICHAEL, a former Guantanamo guard, is kidnapped while visiting a friend/ex-GTMO detainee, AHMED. After finding Ahmed in hiding, Eric and the team enlist his help to track down Michael’s captors. Tensions rise as Eric begins to question whether or not Ahmed is helping the team or helping the kidnappers. While Zara works remotely with Michael’s mother, the team looks into Michael’s and Ahmed’s pasts, learning that both men are not as innocent as they seem.

When Eric negotiates with her captors, he discovers that the hostage is hiding her true identity - she’s a CIA spy who was caught poisoning an Austrian target, mid mission. Eric and Oliver plunge into a world of espionage, spies, and handlers, in order to save an innocent woman’s life. Meanwhile, Oliver gets an interesting job offer.
