Deirdre Quinn

Deirdre Quinn

An actress best known for her supporting role as Tina in the first season of the sci-fi/fantasy series "Heroes," Deirdre Quinn has primarily appeared on television. The Pennsylvania native studied acting in college and was featured in her first screen role in a bit part on the mid-1990s soap opera "The City," starring Morgan Fairchild, followed by a brief turn on the comedy show "Apt. 2F." Quinn's career picked up steam in 2000, when she had appearances on two crime series, "Diagnosis Murder" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," and portrayed the younger version of the character played by Maureen O'Hara in the made-for-TV movie "The Last Dance." Her highlight of the year, however, was her film role as beauty-pageant contestant Miss Texas in the comedy "Miss Congeniality," starring Sandra Bullock. After a supporting part in the horror-tinged TV movie, "The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer," based on a Stephen King tale, Quinn eventually joined the cast of "Heroes," appearing as the friend of Niki Sanders, the troubled character played by Ali Larter. Following her "Heroes" stint, she turned up in two TV movies, the mystery "Jane Doe: Ties That Bind," starring Lea Thompson, and "Aces 'N' Eights," a gritty period Western.
