Edgar Blackmon
Growing up in Illinois, Edgar Blackmon ended up becoming a part of the local comedy scene, joining up with the Chicago sect of the fabled improv comedy troupe The Second City in the mid-2000s. Graduating from the group in 2011, Blackmon was slow to make a name for himself in the comedy world. He had some buzz regarding a potential "Saturday Night Live" (NBC 1975- ) cast member role, but only wind up relegated to the occasional appearance in shows like the Paul Feig-created sci-fi comedy "Other Space" (Yahoo 2015) and the Jesse Plemons-starring dramedy "Other People" (2016). After that, Blackmon acted alongside Andy Samberg in the comedy "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" (2016), before appearing in an episode of the show "Teachers" (TV Land 2016- ). He also appeared in the Lena Dunham HBO project "Max" that shot a pilot in 2016, but didn't lead to a series.
