Mariana convinces Gabe to stay in town and help them with their treehouse project. Brandon asks permission to move into the garage, but that plan is quickly changed with Gabe moves in instead.

Meanwhile, Fiona swears off random hookups to focus on her new apartment building; Lip deals with the personal sacrifices that come with sobriety; and Frank emerges out of a meth-induced haze to make amends for decades of depravity.

Frank gets involved with Liam’s school and becomes the most popular dad in the PTA, while Lip learns that getting laid sober is harder than he anticipated. Ian crosses a boundary with one of the kids from the youth center. Meanwhile, Kevin and Veronica go on a trip to meet Kevin’s birth family.
