Determined to prove her theory, she heads for the war surplus salvage yard where Ebersol and his men are hiding their prized possession, the SX-411 missile-firing helicopter. While taking photos and drawing diagrams, she is spotted by Ebersol's gang, who fire on her car as she races home. Amelia's daughter, asks Devon to find her missing mother, and he assigns Michael to expose the plot.

Just recently one of their technicians, Kevin Morgan, had been accused of theft, and now it is reported that he fell to his death from the roof of the corporation's almost completed high-rise. When Michael goes to see Janet Morgan, Kevin's widow, she tells him that she is convinced that it was murder -- not an accident, and Michael believes her.

Business is booming as Huggy and a former sheriff from their own private detective agency in "Huggy Bear and the Turkey." Huggy Bear and J.D. Turquet become super-sleuths, "Brown and Turquet." Starsky and Hutch give them their first client -- an hysterical woman who reports her husband missing. In no time they learn that the man in question and two cohorts robbed a local gang boss of $300,000 and then the missing man apparently absconded with all three shares of the loot! The pilot thickens and Huggy and Turquet find themselves caught between the robber accomplices looking for their double crossing partner and the gang they all robbed in the first place. Each threatens to kill the fledg-ling private detectives if they don't find the man. To make matters worse, Huggy learns that the missing man's wife may be in cahoots with a member of the victim-gang and, together, they may have already killed him.
