Marcus Lyle Brown

Marcus Lyle Brown was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Brown's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as the Samuel L. Jackson crime picture "Eve's Bayou" (1997), "Monster's Ball" (2001) and the Campbell Scott comedic drama "Lush" (2001). He also was featured in the miniseries "Elvis" (2004-05). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "The Badge" (Starz, 2002-03) and "Torn Apart" (Lifetime, 2004-05). He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in "Venom" (2005) with Agnes Bruckner, the Martin Lawrence comedy sequel "Big Momma's House 2" (2006) and "Premonition" (2007) with Sandra Bullock. He also appeared in "The Great Debaters" (2007). In his more recent career, he continued to act in "Seeking Justice" (2012), the Taylor Kitsch sci-fi feature "Battleship" (2012) and the Nicolas Cage action movie "Stolen" (2012). He also appeared in the action picture "Bullet To The Head" (2013) with Sylvester Stallone and the sci-fi motion picture "The Host" (2013) with Saoirse Ronan. Most recently, Brown acted in the thriller "Zipper" (2015) with Patrick Wilson.
