To make matters worse, Horatio's nephew, Ray Jr., is working as a drug mule for Riaz. With the stakes set high, Horatio must catch Riaz before he takes the life of another member of Horatio's family. Jack and the team investigate the disappearance of Stephanie (Sandra Nelson), a singer in a church choir. Stephanie's choir director informs the agents that the missing woman had been unusually emotional at the last choir practice and requested to perform a particular hymn on Sunday but then failed to show up to sing it. She initially appears to be an ordinary churchgoing woman; however, her work history, multiple moves and a conversation with her recently estranged boyfriend soon lead the team to discover Stephanie's surprising secret. Now the agents try to determine if the secret played a role in her disappearance. Meanwhile, Vivian's symptoms make it difficult to hide her heart condition from her co-workers.
