Now that he’s officially back at the precinct and desperate to solve a real case, Jake finds a loophole to get out of his temporarily designated desk duty. Unfortunately, that loophole rests on his ability to pass an official evaluation performed by Holt. While Charles provides Jake with moral support, Terry and Amy help Rosa, who believes Pimento may be cheating on her.

When Jeff (Michael Bunin) leaves Cloud 9 to work at Target, Garrett (Colton Dunn) leads Glenn (Mark McKinney) to believe that he's poaching other employees to go with him. In return Glenn tries to poach employees from Target. Amy (America Ferrera) goes on a double date with Dina (Lauren Ash), and Kelly (Kelly Stables) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) discuss moving in together.

Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) deal with the consequences of their recent interactions. Meanwhile Glenn (Mark McKinney) and Dina (Lauren Ash) enlist Garrett's (Colton Dunn) help to win the store a visit from Cloud 9's CEO.

The parents are excited to finally break ground at the dig site. PRIDE is inching closer to the finish line, and everyone is ready for this whole ordeal to be over, none more so than Jonah. The Runaways are feeling more fractured than ever when Molly arrives at school with a devastating message from her parents. Now the kids are determined to stop their parents before it’s too late.

During PRIDE’s gala, the kids set in motion a new plan to take down their parents for good. As the evening unfolds, everyone’s personal drama threatens to derail their plans. Meanwhile PRIDE tries to keep their organization in tact as their own mission inches towards the finish line, and their benevolent benefactor finally makes a public appearance.
