No subject is off limits for Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson--hosts and stars of the hit comedy podcast "2 Dope Queens"--as they bring their hilarious insights and laugh-out-loud banter to this series of four hour-long specials, directed by comedian Tig Notaro. Launched in 2016, "2 Dope Queens" is a weekly standup and storytelling podcast that features Williams and Robinson, along with their friends, favorite comedians and celebrity guests, talking about sex, romance, race, hair journeys, living in New York, and much more. Taped at the historic, recently restored Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, the specials follow a similar format to the podcast, opening with Phoebe and Jessica chatting about their lives and riffing on a specific topic, followed by a celebrity interview, and stand-up sets from three up-and-coming comics interspersed throughout.
