Three American men who only speak English look for love in a seaside villa with twelve international women who do not speak English, testing a social experiment on whether love can break through the language barrier.

New couples test out their connections on sit-down dates, while the women left back at the house plan a wild lingerie party. Gisele erupts in anger after Tripp displays feelings for someone else.

When Tripp is stood up by Leidi, it causes him to rethink their relationship. The men and women test if one's tone of voice can convey meaning through performance, but tensions surface when true feelings are expressed.

Three women may want to leave the house. Sangita presents a kissing challenge, giving the men and women an opportunity to connect physically. While some new connections flourish and an old flame reignites, tension heats up between the women and Tripp.
