Rob finds out how Night Light Mountain got its name when he and Stomper set out to install a special video camera on its peak. Getting there is full of challenges like thick fog and a surprise snow slide that sends them back down the mountain. But a good ranger never gives up, and Robs determination to solve the mystery is rewarded when they get to the top and see the Northern Lights lighting up the night.

During a sandstorm in the desert, Rob gets carried away building a storm shelter for park visitors, and inadvertently uses all the water in the oasis. With the help of Stompers yeti snifferoo, he finds a surprising new source of water.

When Rob is put in charge of calling campers to dinner he turns it into a parade complete with clowns (Stomper and Woolly), an acrobat (Dakota) and a band (Sam). And who better to be the parade leader than a Big Sky Park ranger, Ranger Rob.

Rob volunteers to help clean a campsite, but then goes to work with Chipper, which seems like more fun.
