Superintendent Spence (Richard Hope – The Shellseekers) is convinced the evidence was just too obvious and asks his old friend Hercule Poirot to investigate. As Poirot joins forces with famed crime novelist Ariadne Oliver (Zoë Wanamaker – My Family) to save Bentley from the gallows, he doesn’t realise his own life is in danger.
