Coming off the tumultuous year that was 2019, Bill Maher returns for the 18th hit season of his award-winning HBO comedy/talk series. With 35 new editions, the show's winning formula--tweaked to near-perfection over the years--will continue to include an opening monologue, a top-of-show interview, a panel discussion, a mid-show guest and Maher's "New Rules" finale, exposing society's most absurd habits and institutions. As always, Maher and his rotating panel of guests will dissect every partisan calamity, real or imagined, in Washington and around the world, bringing a strong dose of humor and skepticism to the critical issues of our time.
