Nip/Tuck, the series which quickly became a cultural phenomenon, reveals the lives of Dr. Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) and Dr. Christian Troy (Julian McMahon), two plastic surgeons, best friends, and business partners who run McNamara/Troy, a prominent South Beach practice. This season, Christian deals with the aftermath of being attacked by the Carver, a serial attacker slashing the faces of Miami's beautiful people; Sean faces his wife, Julia (Joely Richardson) wanting a divorce and that Matt (John Hensley) is not his biological son; no-nonsense Dr. Liz Cruz (Roma Maffia) has a surprising announcement; and the driven Kimber Henry (Kelly Carlson), now drug-free and a successful adult film director, continues her dynamic relationship with Christian. Recurring guest stars this season include Famke Janssen, Rhona Mitra, Vanessa Redgrave, Brittany Snow, and Anne Heche. Joan Rivers also guest stars as herself this season. Plus, the identity of the Carver is revealed.
