Scarlet brings in someone new over Jacqueline to run the digital department, prompting Jane to write about why a man shouldn’t run a women’s company. Kat struggles to keep up appearances, while Sutton and Richard discuss their relationship moving forward.
Kat throws a Queer Prom fundraiser to save a lesbian bar. Sutton moves in with Richard, but struggles to accept his help and adapt to his lifestyle while putting in more hours at work. Jane begins her fertility treatments.
Kat decides to channel her passion for politics by volunteering for a City Council candidate. Sutton considers a career shift into fashion design, but debates how to break the news to Oliver. Jane challenges herself to be less “vanilla” and more “rocky road”.
Janes stumbles onto the scoop of a lifetime, but is shocked when Jacqueline turns down the pitch. Sutton is disappointed when Oliver doesn't like a dress she designed. Kat decides to run for City Council, but reconsiders when she learns what the opposition might spin about her past.
Scarlet falls prey to a data hack, halting production of the dotcom and magazine, and Jane and Jacqueline fear their investigation could be compromised as a result. Kat can't figure out if Tia is interested in being more than friends.
The Scarlet email hack brings up memories of the trio's first meeting in 2014, reminding them that together they can overcome any obstacle.
