Season 3

Search Party finds a group of entitled, narcissistic twenty-somethings at a hilariously dark crossroads after their friend Dory (Alia Shawkat) becomes obsessed with tracking down a missing college acquaintance. Season 3 catches up with the gang as Dory and disgruntled ex-boyfriend Drew (John Reynolds) are tried for the semi-accidental murder of a private investigator. With courtroom chaos and "rock-solid" evidence stacked against them, Dory and Drew plot a controversial defense, while Elliott (John Early) and Portia (Meredith Hagner) grapple with testifying as witnesses. As a media frenzy descends on the trial, the friends are pitted against each other, and it becomes increasingly clear that brunch plans are canceled indefinitely.
