The Cloud 9 employees are rushing to finish re building the store in time for its "Grand Re Opening." Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) confront their awkward kiss; Glenn (Mark McKinney) discovers something about himself; Garrett (Colton Dunn) avoids Jonah; Mateo (Nico Santos) worries about the voicemail he left on Jeff's (recurring guest star Michael Bunin) phone; and Dina (Lauren Ash) meets her match in special guest star, Howie Mandel.

Amy (America Ferrera) worries that Dina (Lauren Ash) may be struggling with anxiety while Jonah (Ben Feldman) tries to find out more about Garrett's (Colton Dunn) past. Meanwhile, Mateo (Nico Santos) and Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom) avoid work by convincing Glenn (Mark McKinney) that they were close with Brett.

When Amy's (America Ferrera) daughter gets a job at Cloud 9, Amy turns to Jonah (Ben Feldman) for advice on how to balance her parenting. Meanwhile, Garrett (Colton Dunn) and Dina (Lauren Ash) argue over who broke up with whom and Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom) tries to convince Mateo (Nico Santos) that the cute construction worker might just be flirting with him for store perks. Mark McKinney also stars.

Tensions arise among the employees after an attempted robbery, pitting Dina (Lauren Ash) against Jonah (Ben Feldman). Meanwhile, Glenn (Mark McKinney) has a tough time firing the store security guard, and Amy (America Ferrera) discovers that her coworkers have been hanging out without her.

A dead body is discovered in the store on Halloween, throwing Glenn (Mark McKinney) and Dina (Lauren Ash) into a panic, and confusing the shoppers. Meanwhile, Amy (America Ferrera) and Garrett (Colton Dunn) get into big trouble using a dating app on Jonah's (Ben Feldman) phone.

As Mateo (Nico Santos) turns to stranger and stranger home remedies for an ear infection, Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) decide to offer an alternative to Cloud 9's terrible health insurance plan. Meanwhile, Glenn (Mark McKinney) enlists Dina (Lauren Ash) to help him get medical attention for his own embarrassing condition.
