Sarah gets an AIDS test to cure herself of the blahs, and Jay has a birthday party for the first time.

Sarah enters a girl into a pageant, and Steve's rude behavior in a police car has unexpected consequences.

When the batteries in Sarah's TV remote die, she embarks on an odyssey to find new ones. Meanwhile, Brian shows Steve that he's capable of discussing politics.

Sarah is tired of being woken up by church bells every Sunday morning, and goes to the church to express her outrage. Upon leaving, she is approached by several kind women who express their own frustrations with the church. Sarah joins their organization to become their most passionate recruit, unaware that they are a radical anti-abortion group.
