Quantum Leap

A lightning bolt strikes Sam (Scott Bakula) and Al (Dean Stockwell), causing them to trade places and personalities: Al (Dean Stockwell) becomes a World War II ex-POW just returned home in 1945; Sam (Scott Bakula) leaps ''home'' to the Q.L. control center in 1999.

Sam (Scott Bakula) leaps into the body of Lester "Doc" Fuller, pitcher for the Galveston "Mustangs," a minor league baseball team. Sam (Scott Bakula) is here to get Doc from the minors to the majors and to prevent his premature death.
