Making a marriage work isn't easy--especially when you're living on opposite coasts! In the season premiere of "Giuliana and Bill," see what happens when these newlyweds try to balance their busy careers (Giuliana in Los Angeles, Bill in Chicago), while they try to finish up renovating their new house in Chicago. The house is almost ready for move-in and the couple has ten days to get everything done. There are a still a few details to be worked out which Bill has to handle while Giuliana is busy covering the red carpet for the Teen Choice Awards. But when their interior design tastes clash, can this couple learn to compromise? Plus, will mayhem on moving day prove to be too much for these two to handle?

When Bill gets a substantial offer on their new house, he and Giuliana decide to sell the place they built together. But with only two weeks before they have to be out, the two must now decide whether they want to continue living in the city or relocate to the Chicago suburbs. Bill thinks they should take advantage of city life while they're still young, but Giuliana wants to move to the suburbs and start planning for their future family. Which location will win out in the end? And what will happen when Bill starts having regrets about selling their home?

Giuliana and Bill head back to Giuliana's hometown of Bethesda, Maryland, for the weekend when she is asked to be a presenter at a prestigious alumni event at her Alma Mater, the University of Maryland. It's a tough balancing act for Giuliana as she tries to prepare for her big speech while also cramming in quality time with her family and friends in only 48 hours. Meanwhile, Bill tries to learn Italian to impress his in-laws and hires a tutor to teach him how to give an impressive toast at their family dinner. Can he pull it off or will his words end up getting lost in translation?

Since getting married, Giuliana hasn't spent much time with her girlfriends. She's either working, in Chicago, or spending time with Bill. Feeling out of the loop, Giuliana decides that it's time for her to reconnect with her friends, so she plans a night out on the town, filled with drinking and dancing! But when she ends up back home before midnight, will she realize that she just can't hang with her girls like she used to when she was single? Meanwhile, Bill helps Giuliana's nieces start a business making and selling friendship bracelets. He wants to show them the value of hard work, but will he end up robbing them of all the fun?

Giuliana and Bill are used to being a bi-coastal couple, but Giuliana knows that Bill hates being in Los Angeles and would much rather be spending his time in Chicago. So she makes it her mission to get Bill to love L.A. by introducing him to some things that only her city has to offer, including surfing, hiking, and spending a day at the farmer's market. When Bill isn't impressed, Giuliana even takes him to see a spiritual advisor. Meanwhile, when Giuliana's assistant Matthew goes away on vacation, she ends up loving her temp and considers replacing him permanently.

Giuliana grew up in a big Italian family with regular Sunday dinners. She is used to her mom making extravagant meals and she wants to start some culinary traditions of her own. The only problem is she doesn't know how to cook! Tired of eating take out, Bill encourages Giuliana to try cooking one of her mom's favorite dishes--but she doesn't realize how complicated cooking can be! Giuliana decides to take a cooking class, but will that prepare her to cater to a dinner party of ten people? Meanwhile, Bill tries to find an activity that he and Giuliana can do together as a couple.
