A paradise on an island in Flensburg Fjord. Created by four inseparable friends – Jakob, Sabine, Bernd and Charlie. But on a sailing trip, one of their children disappears, and suddenly nothing is the way it was.

Sabine takes us into the past and shows us, from her perspective, the life of the friends, the happy days in their home on the island. Everyone's relationship with each other, and how she experiences the most terrible night of her life.

Jakob
Jakob takes the blame for the accident and doesn’t see that this burden he takes upon himself and which is not the truth, could have enormous consequences for Charlie and the children.
EPISODE 3
Cecile
Cecile has fallen in love. Cecile and Kjell live their love in secret. And suddenly, everything is different. Cecile learns details she can't handle, and closes herself off more and more after Kjell's accident.
EPISODE 4
Bernd
Wracked by the pain of loss, driven by his search for the truth, Bernd puts everything at risk. Bernd is completely isolated and withdraws not only from the island, but also from the company, as he feels betrayed by Charlie.

Emile
Emile is forced to watch how life on the island is completely shattered by the quarrel between his father and Bernd. He suddenly finds himself alone and responsible for his sister, who is in danger of completely losing control.

Karl
Karl lives in his own world and believes that nothing is ever lost. He is the only one who firmly believes that Kjell will come back. He makes an amazing and terrible discovery. But then he has to go on a journey ‒ a journey that changes everything.
