Let's be real: Hardly anyone uses formal dining rooms anymore. That's why Kentucky designer Chenault James was tasked with reclaiming the space, turning it into a room people use every night of the week. (A convertible ping pong table front and center doesn't hurt!)

Nashville's known for its live music scene, so when design duo Forbes and Masters were asked to transform an empty room over the garage, they opted to create the ultimate chill lounge. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix and the 1970s, the room is the perfect place for a jam session.
