After a boozy night, a lot of missed calls from her ex and a chat with a guy who has never seen Friends, Marcella wants to change and goes to her first life-coaching session where she talks about her dream of becoming an actress.

Marcella's ex-boyfriend re-enters her life with a big surprise: his new wife, Tania. To clear her head, Marcella goes out camping and later reflects on some of the bad decisions she made while she was drunk.

Billy, Marcella's wayward brother, is coming out of rehab and it isn't long before their sibling squabbles start up again. Meanwhile, her coach tries to help her overcome their differences with slightly dubious methods.

Marcella is thrilled to have a role in a film, but her delight is short-lived. With filming cancelled for the day, she finds herself running into Jon and discovers that there's more to him than meets the eye.

Marcella needs to tell her family about Billy's drug problems and reluctantly turns to Simon for help. After some soul searching and the unhelpful advice from her life-coach she feels ready to open up with Jon.

A hung-over and guilt-ridden Marcella has to face a date with Jon - whilst haunted by sex-flashbacks from the night before. Jon tries hard to impress but Marcella is called away abruptly when Billy stages his own intervention.
