High School Musical: The Musical: The Series

Ricky decides to audition for East High's fall musical in an effort to rekindle his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Nini.

Dramatic tension is running high as rehearsals kick off and the cast members need to get their heads in the game; E.J. is jealous after losing the leading role of Troy to Ricky.

E.J. discovers the video of Nini singing to Ricky and then finds a heartfelt voicemail from Ricky, which he impulsively deletes; Nini misses an important rehearsal and suspects Gina as the source of her troubles.

Nini and E.J.'s relationship is tested when Nini realizes E.J. has been lying since they met; Gina comes to E.J. with a scheme to take the part of Gabriella away from Nini; Ricky's parents drop a devastating bombshell.

Miss Jenn has a girl's night out with Kourtney and Nini to help shake off the boy drama; the rest of the theater kids attend the East High Homecoming dance, where Carlos learns to dance like everyone's watching.

After being put on a temporary suspension, Miss Jenn is forced to leave Carlos in charge; rehearsal turns into a disaster when he lets it slip that Miss Jenn could lose her job, bringing the cast together to help save her job and the show.
