House Hazards

The hosts get to work demonstrating real house hazards: a septic tank explosion, a grease fire, and what happens when you knock the neck off a helium tank.

Brendan maxes out a Laundry machine, Dan sets fire to a dryer and Francesca challenges Dan to see which is dirtier: the toilet or the kitchen sink.

Brendan turns his amp up to get the music popping, but the result could shatter the party vibe. Dan and Francesca place a "bar" bet on, which is more dangerous - the tiki bar or the barbecue? And we blow up an air mattress.

Sparks fly when Dan teaches Francesca about bathtub electrocution, and Francesca creates some fireworks of her own in the bedroom. The two then get into double trouble in the kitchen.

After Brendan and Francesca break and enter his home, Dan flees to the panic room but it's no match for the well equipped, yet unwanted, guests. The domestic scientists then reveal the shocking truth about electric fences.

Dan and Francesca debate the merits of an open-window policy when it comes to hurricane survival. Brendan and Dan go bowling - on the roof - to test whether the home is meteor proof.
