Is Love Sustainable?

Kyoka Sawada (Juri Ueno) moves in with her father Rintaro (Yutaka Matsushige) after her mother's death, creating a tense household where both struggle to reconnect. As a Japanese language scholar, Rintaro remains emotionally distant, focusing solely on work and creating friction with Kyoka. Discovering a hidden divorce document, Rintaro decides to remarry and unexpectedly begins pushing Kyoka toward finding her own life partner. Burdened by family responsibilities and yearning for independence, Kyoka must navigate her father's sudden matchmaking efforts while confronting their complicated relationship. As they both seek to heal from their shared loss, they must learn to understand and support each other in unexpected ways.
