Production is starting on the new Super Proof film, The Masquerade, their most ambitious project yet, but the arrival of Sean Pettit's 55-year-old party animal father, The Groovemeister, is an unexpected wild card to deal with.

Sean Pettit's ankle is feeling better so he, brother Callum, and father Groovemeister head into BC for the GT Memorial NoBoard Race. Sean then gets word that the snow in Japan is insane, so he jumps on a flight to Shimamaki to go shred some powder.

With the powder in Japan delivering, Sean Pettit and the crew make their way to Niseko for some five-star snow. After a warm welcome and a kimono-clad snowblading session, they get to work skiing everything from trees to roadside pillow lines.

The Super Proof crew is off to the Italian Alps to film in some picturesque valleys, off-piste cliffs, and powder-filled tree lines. Italy lives up to its reputation with chain-smoking guides, wine and pasta for every meal, and insane alpine terrain.

In the States, Colorado gives Sean Petit and crew a win, as Crested Butte provides them with a shot-filled ski trip. Avalanches run them out of town, so it's off to Utah for a slushy hip session. Back home, Sean's dad turns out to be a big luger.

Sean Petit, Mark Abma, and Richard Permin head to Alaska for some seriously steep and deep skiing in what should be the trip of the year. Meanwhile, Groovemeister hits the road, but his misguided travel info may cost him his sanity.
