This 2-hour special probes the psyche of serial killer Edmund Kemper, a criminal mastermind as brilliant as he was brutal. Famed for his towering height and remarkable intelligence, Kemper murdered his own mother and grandparents as part of a killing spree that spanned nearly a decade and claimed the lives of ten people. Kemper used his intellect and stature to trap his prey before murdering, sexually assaulting and mutilating their bodies. Shockingly, Kemper’s killing spree ended when he voluntarily turned himself in to the authorities.
