After serving an 18-year prison sentence for the murder of Marcelo Fontini, Donatela's husband, Flora leaves prison willing to prove her innocence, accusing her ex-partner of having committed the crime. At the same time, she wants to get closer to her daughter Lara, raised by her rival, the result of a relationship with Marcelo, with whom Flora had become a lover.
