The 'Jarocha' tells Rita that her son escaped from jail. Esmeralda apologizes with Pablo because he is not guilty of what his mother has done to her.

The director of the prison tells 'Silencioso' that he is the sole heir to a large fortune. Mariano mocks of Esmeralda, Pablo tries to defend her but he says she is a girl with no education and she becomes very offended.

The 'Jarocha' discovers that Esmeralda is in love with Pablo. The 'Italian' tries to abuse the 'Gata' and she defends herself biting. Pablo tells Esmeralda that will no longer visit her so people do not think they are dating.

Pablo confesses to Esmeralda that he loves her and will never separate from her. Lorenza looks for Pablo in the ravine and forbids him to have a relationship with Esmeralda.

Pablo takes Esmeralda to his home so she can eat something. Lorenza humiliates Esmeralda and asks her to leave, but Virginia and Pablo defend her. Pablo assures to Esmeralda that he will marry her no matter what.

Rita takes Esmeralda out of her home for hitting Ines. After spending the night in the street, Esmeralda asks Rita to let her return to her home. The 'Italiano' threatens Pablo with a gun to stay away from the 'Gata'.
