MacAskill's Imaginate

Trials rider and viral video star Danny MacAskill heads to Newport Beach, California to create the film project of his dreams, but old injuries in his back and knee keep limiting him on the bike. He's hoping rehab training in the gym will help.

As he recovers from major back surgery, cyclist Danny MacAskill films a TV documentary about action sports athletes with one of his heroes, Guy Martin. Then work of rehab begins as he starts to plan his moves for the film project.

It's a once-in-a-lifetime honour for Danny MacAskill as he rides the Olympic Torch through the packed streets of Glasgow, Scotland. Work of his film project goes on with the search for a location yielding a surprisingly perfect space.

In the six months leading up to the film shoot, Danny rides almost every day in the space, though it's still under construction by the ever-growing team. It's the biggest creative and physical challenge of his life, but he's energized to take it on.

Danny finally reveals the wild ride he's been dreaming up. He invites cameras to the set of Imaginate and explains the inspiration behind the unique concept, sharing just how complex and difficult it was to shoot the film, but well worth the effort.
