Spies Must Die: The Crimea

Officers are sent in the middle of the night to check documents, but come across a peculiar witch. A fight breaks out on a train between an officer and soldier. They offer him medical help only if he reveals his secrets. However, he dies. A young soldier sees a beautiful woman bathing, wearing the red crystals. It turns out that she is in fact, another witch.

There is a huge welcoming back for the General. Sergey drinks his pain away after his lover still refuses to speak with him. A young soldier confesses to a priest that he must commit a murder. Right after, the general comes in to plan reconstruction of the church, but a stabbed priest emerges from the confession booth. A group of soldiers find a dead body after entering a mysterious house.

The mysterious death is believed to have been caused by the witch, after her hut was destroyed. The General tries to win back the doctor, his lover, but she has a new interest. Some of the soldiers stay at the house of the dead man, but encounter many strange things, including a young soldier trying to take his own life. The cause of the death of the old man is brought into question.

Soldiers continue to stay in the house of the old man who died. A neighbor brings two of them to the grave of the man that also used to live in the house. A well known general has died, and the news quickly spreads. Another suicide, possibly related to the witch, occurs. The doctor continues to get many new love interests, besides the general.

A shocking detail in the suicide of the woman is discovered: a painting of the witch's red beads hangs in her wall. The comrades throw a party, to release some stress, but a brawl breaks out instead. The general tries to win back the doctor, again, unsuccessfully. He then has a night terror and almost kills himself.

The doctor and a soldier work together to try and figure out the mysterious deaths, and different medications. They hold a funeral service for Captain Sapega. Soldiers set out to find their fellow comrade, but get caught in an explosion of mines. The Major enters the hospital after almost trying to kill himself.
