The Drop, the biggest social event of the year in Merinac, brings the Mimi's and Frannie's factions under one roof and face-to-face. At the party, everyone's dirty laundry is aired out as a result of the town rumor mill. Meanwhile, Gus has other plans for her night, and hits the town with Sergio, Kenneth, and Patrick.

As a result of a spontaneous sleepover together like old times, sisters Amanda and Mae begin to reconnect in spite of the Kitchen Clash competition. But Amanda starts to feel the pull back to Frannie's and to Frank Jr. as she begins to second-guess herself. Meanwhile, Nancy and Gus butt heads over Gus's treatment of Amanda.

Amanda tries her best to be happy despite current events, but she's not quite convincing herself. Meanwhile, the Kitchen Clash competition comes to a head, and things even get physical as emotions are running high all around. Sabrina is delighted that Linzey is showing an interest in her work on the show, but may not want her to weigh in too much.
