Lawman Gunman Will Sonnett arrives in Mesa. The people in town all start to suppose Will is here for a showdown with gunman Ben Crane. But Will says he has other business in Mesa. Sheriff Sam Keever is Will's friend and Sam's daughter Lucy is the girl Will left behind. The Town character busybody Phineas Turner won't leave well enough alone and serious trouble seems inevitable.

The Tucson Kid, an insurance investigator is sent to a town called Crossroads to investigate a saloon fire and soon encounters more than he bargained for.
